A precise diagnosis without a direct examination of the device is complicated. However, if you describe the symptoms, our consultants can provide an initial estimate of the issue and give you a standard price as well as the estimated time frame for data recovery. If you wish, we will send you a job number and barcode, which will be assigned to your device.

Diagnosis

Either send your storage devices to us or drop them off at one of our branches. Alternatively we offer a free, same day collection service.

Once your media is registered, photographed, and labeled with a barcode in our system, it enters the lab. The initial data recovery assessment team starts working immediately. Depending on the type of damage, it may be necessary to disassemble your device under controlled conditions and repair it with replacement parts.

Data Recovery

After we complete the data recovery process and have successfully recovered and reviewed your data, we will create a list of the files.

This list will be encrypted for security reasons and sent to you via email, along with a quote and a technical report. We store your data for 7 days by default, giving you time to review the file list. If you choose not to proceed, we will return your devices immediately. Free return shipping applies to devices weighing 2 kg or less. For all other items, a fee will be charged according to our return shipping policy. -> If you choose not to proceed, we will return your device(s) immediately, free of charge.
